Using Otto

By downloading or using Otto you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old, and you agree to use Otto only for lawful, personal car-shopping purposes.

What Otto is (and isn't)

Otto provides estimates and general guidance generated from listing data and public information. It is not a mechanical inspection, an appraisal, or legal, financial, or professional advice.

Always verify a vehicle with an independent mechanic and review the official history report before buying. You are solely responsible for your purchase decisions.

Your content

You keep ownership of the listings, screenshots, and photos you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content so we can produce your analysis and improve the service.

Don't upload content you don't have the right to share, or anything unlawful or harmful.

Accounts and payments

You are responsible for activity under your account. Any paid features are billed through the Apple App Store and governed by Apple's terms; manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Otto is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any amount greater than what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
